Living in America, it’s hard to imagine dogs being anything other than pets; but in Korea, they are bred for a very different purpose – their meat.
These 64 dogs were rescued from a meat farm in Korea. Before then they had lived their lives in tiny cages, never knowing love or affection, never being able to play.
After they were rescued, they got to experience a good life for the first time – getting baths and pets and nice beds to sleep on and friends to play with.
Watch the video below to see these dogs as they enter their new lives. Their reactions could melt even the coldest of hearts!

Any nation that raises dogs for meat is backward and barbaric. No excuse. And no sorry comparisons to cows or chickens. If you can’t see the difference between these highly intelligent, sensitive, emotionally rich animals and a herd animal, you are blind or stupid.
