Sad Shelter Dog Literally Jumps For Joy When He Sees He’s Being Adopted

A shelter dog’s adoption day is the most special thing. It’s the day they can finally put their painful pasts behind and learn what it means to be loved by a family. Seeing a dog take a freedom walk from the kennel to the freedom ride to their forever home never gets old. 🙂

It’s Benny’s lucky day! The sad and shy dog sat at the high-kill Carson Shelter in Gardena, California, just waiting and waiting to be saved before it was too late. The moment the sweet dog realizes he’s being rescued he tries to contain the excitement, but it starts coming out little by little as he’s bursting at the seams with joy!

Benny’s tail is wagging like crazy as they leash him up, and he literally jumps for joy as he walks away from his kennel for good.

“This special little guy captured the hearts of everyone who stopped by his kennel. He hit the jackpot when this beautiful family chose to take him home,” wrote Saving Carson Shelter Dogs on Facebook.
