Owner Frustrated By Dog Shedding In Car, Invents Hilarious Doggy Leotards & People Can’t Stop Laughing

Tyson Walters is the proud owner of a huge Saint Bernard named Harley. Despite his love for Harley, Tyson recalls feeling frustrated whenever he had to take Harley on a car ride:

“My car was practically ruined. Harley’s hair would intertwine in the fabric and not want to ever come out. She would shake and the hair would just explode off her and disperse throughout the car.”

Sound familiar, dog owners?

It got to the point where Tyson started day-dreaming about a gadget that would prevent all that shedding in the first place. “I couldn’t find a solution. So I decided to make one.”

That’s when Tyson invented the Shed Defender. Check out the hilarious photos on the next page:

  1. I’ve had schnauzer who didn’t shed. Loved him. But I have a Jack Russell now who I adore and throws hair like crazy when she gets in the car. My car isn’t so much a problem. I don’t really care. But if I’m in a rental, it becomes a problem. She would tolerate this just fine.

  2. Just a passing comment, Robert. 74 degrees? My goodness, in the U.K. that would be declared a heatwave! People start complaining of the heat when the temperature reaches 70 in this country. Having lived in the Middle East, I love the heat, but we don’t get much of it here.

  3. A dogs already got a coat on! Don’t have an animal if you’re not prepared for all the responsibilities and consequences. If that dog is severely overheated or dehydrated because your putting clothes on it, then it is other people’s business!

  4. That’s not abuse. Uncomfortable, maybe. But I see not one dog cowering in pain or fear. This is not abuse. A little over dramatic for dog hair? Certainly. But….again…their choice.

You need to learn the difference between abuse and YOUR PERCEPTION of what abuse may be….

  5. “IF that dog is severely overheated, blah, blah, blah…”

    Stop with the “what ifs”…

The dogs look fine to me. Its a breathable material…but….WHAT IF the dog likes it? Huh? Then what?!? My GOD !! That would be HORRIFIC,wouldn’t it?

Don’t start labeling people abusers until there is some abuse…its profiling. 🙂

  6. Well my Doxie Pico sheds a little bit and it doesn’t bother me so I would never put him in something like this and besides he wouldn’t like it and I agree it’s better to just cover the seats with some kind of cover they’ve got a lot of things to protect your furniture and your car!!!
