Scottish Man Arrested After Training Pet Pug To Do ‘Nazi Salute’

A Scottish man is facing hate crime charges after he posted a video of himself training his girlfriend’s pet pug to do a Nazi salute and respond to anti-Semitic commands.

The video shows the pet pooch Budda watching Hitler’s speeches, jumping up when it hears the words: “Gas the Jews”, and doing what appears to be a salute.

Markus Meechan, a 28-year-old from North Lanarkshire in Scotland, made the video as a prank to annoy his girlfriend.

“My girlfriend is always ranting and raving about how cute her dog is so I thought I would turn her into the least cute thing you could think of which is a Nazi,” he said in the YouTube video, which has been viewed more than 1.8 million times.

Mr Meechan was arrested last month on suspicion of hate crime and spent a night in jail, according to the Daily Mail.

Police said the video was highly offensive. Move on to the next page to view the video:

  1. It’s a joke, he did purely to prank his girlfriend and its actually hilarious!
Surely the police have better stuff to be doing here?
Stop taking things so bloody seriously people and get off your sodding soap boxes!

  2. Kevy Loughran wise up? Apparently you understand nothing about such symbolisms, yes it may sound silly or an exaggeration but the simple fact this owner wants his pug to emulate$#%&!@*says a lot about this person and probably his affinity. No normal, decent, educated individual would do such.
