Scarlett Johansson’s Dog Is A Trump Supporter On ‘SNL’

“Saturday Night Live” finally featured a lovable Donald Trump supporter.

In a new skit that aired Saturday, Scarlett Johansson plays a scientist who has invented a device that turns animals’ thoughts into words. To impress their financial backers, Johansson straps the device to her dog Max.

“Hi, I’m Max,” the pug says. “I like park and leash. And I like Trump. He’s my man.”

Yes, to the horror of the “SNL” cast, ScarJo’s dog is a fan of President Donald Trump.

When Johansson suggests there must be some kind of glitch, Max reaffirms his support for The Donald.

“There’s no glitch. Donald Trump is our president,” the dog says. “He carried the Electoral College fair and square.”

Baffled at the dog’s political leanings, the scientists try to scold him for liking Trump, but Max just keeps listing reasons the president is great.

“I know he has issues, but one big change is better than business as usual,” Max says, adding that the Dow is up 2,700 points since Election Day. “What’s not to like?” he asks the humans in the room.

Shocked by the dog’s reasoning, Cecily Strong, who plays a corporate type funding the invention, tells Johansson: “Your dog is a monster.”

Johansson tries to fix the embarrassing situation by telling Max that he’s just a dog who doesn’t know what he’s saying. But that pushes Max over the edge.

“Excuse me, Helen, but yes I do,” he says sternly. “It’s that condescending attitude that made people want to vote for Trump in the first place.”

Johansson reasons with Max by calling Trump a racist and pointing out his unfair policies, but Max does not back down.

“You just assume that because I’m a Trump supporter that I’m a xenophobic racist,” Max says. Then, when Johansson points out that Max’s best friend is a Chihuahua and Trump wants to deport Mexicans, Max shoots back: “If Aquino was born here, he has nothing to worry about. This is a nation of laws.”

Strong eventually pulls out a gun to shoot the dog, who responds by calling everyone in the room “liberal snowflakes.”

That’s when Johansson ends the demonstration.

“It’s OK, Max. I love you no matter what,” she reassures her dog as she puts a pink pussy hat over his head. “We just have to learn how to respect each other’s point of view, I guess.”

The Trump-loving dog felt like a new voice for a show that has repeatedly mocked the president and his administration ― and it had some “SNL” fans thinking.

But, for the most part, people are now just worried that their dogs are secret Trump supporters too.

    Scott Davis your comment has nothing to do with bulldogs. The dog in the video is a pug. Keep your politics to yourself. This is a bulldog group. If I wanted politics, I would be a member of a political group. I don’t care what your political leanings are

    American Won. You left wing nut jobs are through. Canada is next. We’re taking our countries back. Cant trust a group of people to run a country when they cant even figure out that having a penis makes you a male and a vagina makes you a women.
