Tiny Terrier Got A Rottweiler Pregnant And Their Puppies Are Adorable

They say opposites attract. Here to provide evidence of that is loving couple and proud parents Joey and Zara.

Joey and Zara lived together, but no one realized their romance until Zara got pregnant and gave birth — to 11 babies.

We should also mention that Zara is a Rottweiler, and Joey is a West Highland terrier, a breed commonly known as a Westie.

The sheer difference in their size and appearance made their union all the more surprising for their owner, Teresa Patterson, who lives in Yorkshire in the U.K.

Zara is more than twice Joey’s size, but when there’s a will, there’s a way, and Zara was soon the mother to 11 puppies.

The puppies shocked Patterson, who admitted that she “just started screaming” when Zara began giving birth. Soon, Patterson found herself with 11 new puppies.

The puppies, nicknamed “Wotties,” have a good mix of both parents‘ traits. They have their mom’s black fur and muscular build, and their dad’s triangular ears and shaggy hair.

    Any decent dog owner that decides not to neuter or spay (which I compleatly agree with) needs to realize ANY male dog can get your intact female pregnant. It’s why my female pug lives in panties during her full heat cycle and is kept away from other dogs while in heat.

    As a Rottweiler rescue, we see all kinds is mixes. Yes, they’re cute. And so are the 1000s of dogs that are euthanized in shelters every day. If you aren’t willing to spay or neuter your pets then for the Heavens sake, at least be RESPONSIBLE and don’t let them breed. Rescues get tired of having to deal with your stupidity.

    I’m not the one who breed these two so go$#%&!@*at them I see your an animal lover well so am I but these pups are going to have all kinds of problems medically so instead of them suffering I said they should be put down. You don’t cross breed any and everything out there, you don’t see elephant’s and zebras or lions and giraffes or cat’s and dog’s it’s not supposed to be that way and you don’t breed great Danes and scottie or rottie and terriers and yes the two idiot’s who let them breed are at fault as well.

    So, your crystal ball shows you the lives these pups will have. You are not the decider or executioner. My hope is that they are adopted by caring people who give them the care and love they deserve. I’ve rescued many animals whose futures looked very bleak. Some of them did better than others. My responsibility was to do the very best I could for them and free of pain. Many lived, and still are living long and wonderful days.

    Yeah my crystal ball of common sense tells me yes they can live and whom ever can pay tons of money in medical when problems arise or you can eliminate that but you so anti let any living thing die why don’t you harp about the 100s of thousands of human babies killed every year?

    Anyone who breeds that don’t health check could potentially breed an unhealthy litter and owners end up paying thousands for treatment wether they are the same breed or not. I don’t agree with cross breeding or breeding for that matter but those who do should health check to stop these things happening. It’s very irresponsible keeping 2 unaltered dogs together especially no of the same breed…they know what’s going to happen!!

    A friend of mine once told me a story about a Chihuahua who tried to mate with a Great Dane. Good thing he wasn’t successful. I can only imagine what THOSE puppies would have looked like! YIKES!!! :^)
