[Video] Small Dog Is Carried off by a Coyote. Neighbor’s Rottweiler Springs Into Action!

This video was taken by a security camera. Despite living in an area with no prior Coyote sightings, this owner’s dog was in a fight for it’s life after being left alone for only 5 minutes outside.

At 7 in the morning (not a normal time for a coyote / wild animal attack), Trixxie (their little black dog, a chiweenie -chihuahua / dachshund mix) was attacked and carried off by a Coyote.

The poor little dog would have lost her life if not for the neighbor's Rottweiler that came to her rescue!

Happy, the neighbor's mid sized black Rottweiler, quickly went after the Coyote when she saw that Trixxie was being attacked! Once Happy intervened, Trixxie was able to get away.

    Friday evening, 5:30ish, a coyote came from across the street into my yard, pooed in my front yard, walked down my sidewalk, and went behind my house. The neighbor went to get his gun, but the coyote was gone. Needless to say, I have been keeping a super close eye on Rosie. There was also rabbit fur scattered several places in the front yard.

    idiot owners should of known better than let a dog out without being on a leach or in a fenced in yard,,Coyotes are bad in California and they are very brave.. even here where I live you never let a dog out without not staying close… small dogs are easy prey for coyotes,,even cats

    I once had a lady argue with me about this. Did she was told by some coyote expert that coyotes would tear the rotty up. That they are super vicious and always travel in packs.

    Well, for one this video is proof they do not always do that and she never met my rotty.
