It sounds a bit scary at first, but this Rottweiler loves to purr when he gets hugged! As many Rottweiler owners will tell you this behavior is called “rottie rumbles” and they do it when they feel really good.

You don’t have to be mean or firm with them all you gotta do is give a lot of love. They will do anything to please you. I have had many Rottweilers. Most loving dogs there are. Great for family and love kids. Very protective.
