  1. Mine was a “talker”. He’d almost growl when you pet him bc he really dug it.
    If he got on the couch and I’d kick him off, he sounded like he was swearing at me under his breath.

  2. He is happy. His body language is perfectly calm. If he was snarling he would be showing his upper teeth, standing in a defensive stance and not going back into her brace when she let go. Rotties make a lot of noise. We definitely curbed this noise a little when ours were puppies because​ people are scared enough of the breed. Don’t get me wrong ours still make a grumbling noise when they’re happy, but not to this extent. We just didn’t give the noise bunch of attention when they were young. Rotties are all about what they can get attention for. They live for attention. They’re​ the biggest clowns. Which is what this guy is doing.

  3. Mine does it all the time when I give her love and yes the first few times she did it, it was scary I thought she didn’t like what I was doing but No it’s love purrs only dog I’ve ever seen do that.
