Rory was found in the De Doorns garbage dump in very bad shape. He was suffering from tick bite fever, filled with worms and parasites, and was going blind from really severe allergies.
Rory began to lose hope and accept his fate that he would die out there amid the trash.

The sad part is, Rory is not the only dog who was dumped there.
The De Doorns garbage dump is a very popular place for evil people to dump and abandon sick and unwanted dogs.
Many of them do end up dying there, but Rory was one of the lucky ones.

He was thankfully rescued by Sidewalk Specials, who rushed him to a vet for treatment. Thankfully his eyes cleared up with proper medication, and he was able to see again!
The puppy who was on the brink of death has grown into a happy and healthy dog! And the best news? He was adopted by loving humans!

Rory is now extremely spoiled. He gets to cuddle on the couch, has his own comfy bed, plays with endless toys, and gets to run around outside with his new doggy friends.
