I’ve seen a few dog rescue stories that show the amazing difference a day makes after a dog is adopted from a shelter, but never one that shows what a difference one hour can make!
Tammy saw a photo of a Chihuahua baring her teeth in a shelter and went to rescue her. She named the dog Sunshine and while driving her home something pretty incredible happened. Wait until you see this “before and after”!
Things got even better for Sunshine. Tammy fostered Sunshine for 8 months and found her a wonderful forever home in January 2015.
If you enjoyed Sunshine’s freedom ride, you’ll love these photos of shelter dogs going on their freedom rides.

Poor baby, hate to see them stressed. No animal should be passed around, they need to stay put and be loved forever. Then I woke up…. such a sweetie, thank you.

She was terrified. Once she was in the lady’s arms she felt safe. That is what made the difference. You don’t know what had been her life before the shelter. She was wise to protect herself. Poor little doggie.
