A tiny puppy lay abandoned and alone on the sidewalk, and thankfully some Good Samaritans saw a glimmer of hope in his eyes and stopped to help.
The small dog had also been hit by a car, and he was totally emaciated as he was unable to help himself. Recka weighed around only 2 pounds and needed immediate care.
Animal rescuer She Rojas rushed Recka to the vet where they got to work on him right away. He was cleaned up and fed, and they treated his infections.
Even though the pup couldn’t stand on his own, he was hungry and wanted to eat which was a great sign!
With all of this continuous care and love, Recka soon blossomed into a healthy dog. His life started off in just about the worst way possible, but now the pup has been adopted by his new mama who loves him so much!
