As wonderful a breed as they are, they're not for everyone. As Pug advocates it's our responsibility to tell the truth and provide reasons why some people should never own pugs.

I just lost my precious little Lily after almost 14 years. I am still having a very hard time with it and I swear I never will go thru this again. But i know deep in my heart I will probably be adopting another beautiful Pug again in the future, because of every reason you listed. I’ve had a lot of dogs in my life, but never one like Lily.

I can understand your pain. I lost both my pugs in the last year. Ziggy was13 and Maxwell was 14. I had them since they were 6 weeks old. I have to have another one. I’m looking for rescues. I am having an awful time without them.
