Stray animals have a lot to contend with. They have to find enough food and water to survive. They need shelter from the elements. It’s a cruel, tiring life.
When one small puppy tried to cross the street to find a meal, she was accidentally hit by a car. Yes, these things happen but the driver didn’t even stop to help the poor pup.
As the puppy lay in the middle of the road, she lost so much blood. She had head trauma which caused seizures. What’s most devastating is how many people drove and walked by and did absolutely nothing to help her.
But finally, while the pup clung to life, a passerby spotted her and knew she had to help.

The kind woman called up a local vet clinic and said she was bringing a severely injured puppy to them. This way they were prepared!
She mentioned that the puppy was bleeding a lot. As soon as the puppy arrived, they put her in a room. It was all hands on deck. This baby needed extensive tests done.

The first order of business was for the puppy to get blood transfusions. As they gave her the transfusions, they administered IV fluids and pain medication.
Her jaw appeared broken so the vet and his team performed x-rays. The poor pup had been through so much! As soon as the pain meds kicked in, she finally fell asleep.
