A puppy who can’t walk and a pigeon who can’t fly are staying together at a shelter called The Mia Foundation.
And it only took them six weeks to become the best of friends! It’s as if they know they have this disability in common.
Lundy the Chihuahua and Herman the pigeon now spend their time lying on top of each other and snuggling all day long.
Lundy has spinal cord damage and Herman can’t fly, and this has only strengthened the bond between the two!
Adoption inquiries and donations to help these animals with their medical costs have poured in.
Let’s hope that whoever adopts the one decides to also adopt the other so that these best friends can continue to spend their days together! 🙂
