Pugs Gather for ‘Star Wars-Themed Pug Parade’ and it’s AWESOME!

The largest gathering of pugs in the world just happened yesterday in Portland, Oregon in the United States! It was the 16th annual Pug Crawl!

An estimated 1,000 people and 500 pugs gathered at the Portland Brewing Company Taproom at 2730 NW 31st Avenue, Portland, OR 97210 for the event that was organized by the Oregon Humane Society. The event paid tribute to Star Wars, calling the event “Star Wars: The Pug Awakens“.

Raffles, costume contest, music and dogs available for adoption… and the proceeds from the event went towards helping shelter pets. Sounds like an awesome event for a great cause!
