This adorable pug really, REALLY hates it… so much so that he totally loses his emotions to run away from the reality of having his toe nails clipped!
His emotionless facial expression while having his nails cut is just too hilarious and cute!!

I have had many breeds of dogs over the years and I instruct at dog training clubs. I always have my nail clippers in the car and regularly cut members dogs nails. Then I got my sweet little Pug Huggie, At first she was good…..now every comment everybody has made, thats HER. Screaming biting me etc etc. I have to sedate her and go to the groomer. My Vet said it is a pug thing.!!

Poor little bugger. First she is taunted with the clippers, then her little arms are pulled on over her head, albeit gently. Then the way she has to sit with her arm looking like a chicken wing…..no wonder she hates the process.

My pug needs 3 ninja type people working in unison to cut his nails and he still makes out that we are trying to kill him. Send him to the parlour and they say he is easy to handle! Go figure…

Three of us with a blanket wrapped around my pug and we couldn’t hold her still. I will leave the nail trimming to the professionals. I don’t know where they pull that strength and ferocity from. It’s unreal.

It was a whole ordeal to cut my pug’s nails. Had to put him in an oversize cone so he couldn’t see the clippers and had to have my husband hold him tightly while i steady one foot to cut. And the noises he made. Don’t let the small size fool you, trying to keep one still is hard.
