This adorable pug really, REALLY hates it… so much so that he totally loses his emotions to run away from the reality of having his toe nails clipped!
His emotionless facial expression while having his nails cut is just too hilarious and cute!!

If your dog screams when you cut his nails, its because you hurt him. There à right way to cut them… Ask it to your veterinary… There is à point you should not cut…

Oh man I wish my pugs were this easy it takes me and my husband. My husband holds him then I wear oven mitts cause he will bite me if he can . 30 minutes later we might be done. My other pug cries the whole time.

My little girl hate having her nails done so we take her to the vets – she screams so badly having her nails trimmed we have to go out to the waiting room and explain that she is not being torched just having her nails done. So mortifying

I do if they really move a lot cuz they can slice the skin (or rip out hair on long haired dogs) but also older dogs with arthritis , vibrations hurt. Clipping is faster and can be trained for if done enough

I accidentally cut the quick once on my sweet pug and I just could not do it again; I found a great nail trimmer but he did not like it at all; everytime was a struggle but he hurt his feet w/long nails and they told me it would be harder and harder to keep them short if I did not do it more often. It is hard to see w/black nails. Cutey.

At least he sat still, my pug goes crazy won’t be still, I even went out and paid big bucks for a fancy one that lights up if I get too close to the quick, she won’t hold still so, now I just take her to the vet for $15.00 they do it for me, of course she holds still for them.
