Children love dogs — and for good reason! They're cute, cuddly, and oh-so-friendly. They say dogs are man’s best friend, but they're also baby's best friend!… or are they?!

Here's little pug Patsy and baby Jack who seems like they are the best of friends. Jack just can’t get enough of his cute little friend. In this hilarious video, Jack just can’t stop laughing as Patsy starts to play – giggling so hard he totally forgets about the delicious cookie in his hand. But, Patsy didn’t forget!

Patsy starts to distract Jack, running around and making him giggle until finally the cookie is left on the floor, long forgotten by baby Jack as he tries to pet his cute little friend.

Finally Patsy sneaks around and grabs the cookie for herself (Patsy's tactics to steal the cookie from Jack worked!), but Jack doesn’t care. He’s having the time of his life and is totally in love with his new buddy!

    Cute-yes! BUT what if the pug gets playfully snappy or puts a scratch on the baby? The pug will then be stamped aggressive and either given away, taken to a shelter or hopefully surrendered to a rescue. Seen it too many times!

    And Christine how would you handle a baby and a Pug? What would be your solution? I am not being sarcastic. I too often see babies and dogs which makes me nervous. But a Pug and a baby really is a very compatible duo.
