Police were called when this lady left her dog in a hot car while she went into Walmart.
When she came back out to her car, a cop was waiting and made her sit in the hot car to see how her dog felt!
HuffingtonPost.com reports that this happened after the officer responded to the call about the dog being left in the car in Ohio:
“To prove a point, the officer made the woman sit inside of the warm car with the windows up and without the engine on for a few minutes.
The woman said she was fine but the officer noted she looked uncomfortable. The woman was advised if she did this again she would be cited.”
More: What To Do If You See A Dog In A Hot Car
The article notes that this isn’t the first time that an officer has done this. They say that last year another officer did the same thing to a woman who left her dog in a hot car in New Mexico.
That woman said that what the officer did was “abusive”. It was all caught on camera too.
Do you think it’s fair or is the officer going too far by making these people sit in a hot car after they leave their dogs in a hot car?

I walked past two cars today at the shopping mall that had dogs in them. They were in the covered garage, so the dogs weren’t at risk of overheating (though it’s still about 80 degrees in the garage, probably), but it still makes me wonder why you would take your dogs with you if you are going shopping at the mall?

Good for the cop.
Put a fur on lady, and pant at the window.
Park her by the door so everyone can see, and post a sign on the door.
Feel bullied? Tough sh!t.
As a human, you have the ability to break the window. The animal or small child does not.

This is what they should do to each person who does this. They should also make them cover up with a nice scratchy wool blanket and stay that way for more then a couple if minutes. As for the female who said making her sit in a hot car was abusive, if it’s abusive for you it’s abusive for the dog.

If u watch the video, the Officer did not order her to sit in the car with the windows up. He suggested that while he writes her a ticket for leaving the dog in a hot vehicle, perhaps she might want to sit in the vehicle with the door closed so she can experience what her dog went through. He didn’t “make” her do anything.
She thought she could stir up some$#%&!@*by lying but ended up looking like a damn fool. I’ll take her dog if she’s just going to abuse him or her & it would live like a king. Just. Like. Mine.

Good job officer!! Stupid pos claims the officer was abusive by making her sit in the car while he wrote the citation. She was the one being abusive towards her dog by doing exactly what she claims the cop did. Such stupidity!!!
