Police Officer Makes Woman Sit In Hot Car After She Left Her Dog In The Car

Police were called when this lady left her dog in a hot car while she went into Walmart.

When she came back out to her car, a cop was waiting and made her sit in the hot car to see how her dog felt!

HuffingtonPost.com reports that this happened after the officer responded to the call about the dog being left in the car in Ohio:

“To prove a point, the officer made the woman sit inside of the warm car with the windows up and without the engine on for a few minutes.

The woman said she was fine but the officer noted she looked uncomfortable. The woman was advised if she did this again she would be cited.”

The article notes that this isn’t the first time that an officer has done this. They say that last year another officer did the same thing to a woman who left her dog in a hot car in New Mexico.

That woman said that what the officer did was “abusive”. It was all caught on camera too.

Do you think it’s fair or is the officer going too far by making these people sit in a hot car after they leave their dogs in a hot car?

  1. 100% in favor of doing to the human what they did to the animal. Left an animal for a week without food or water? Eat up now, cause you ain’t getting nothing for a week. Left an animal in a hot car for an hour? Settle in a get comfy, you’re gonna be in that car for a while.

  2. She’ll probably sue the city now but won’t even realize her case would be based on what she did to her dog. She said what the cop did was abusive yet doesn’t see that same point for her animal who can’t speak up. Trash!

  3. Now for all those parents killing their babies in hot cars – let the police make them stay in the care until they die as well. May sound bad to some people, but I don’t care someone needs to speak out for all the babies that had to suffer when no one was thinking about them.
