Pitbull chained in snow cries for help – now watch when the policeman comes to his rescue

Here's the amazing video of Kia the pit bull and Justin's story of how they are helping to create a new image for the pit bull breed.

Kiah was rescued from abusive conditions and trained to be a K9 officer. She's one of the first pit bulls to become a police dog and the first one in New York State.

She's now part of the Poughkeepsie Police Department and she also serves as a breed ambassador. When she's not out fighting crime, she's fighting stereotypes about pit bulls.

Watch the video below! …and SHARE this with your friends and family! 🙂

  1. God bless this great man/police officer and his family for giving this sweet little girl a second chance to see what having people that understand this breed and to see what real live is. I just hope the cruel person/persons that left her chained outside git arrested.

  2. If anyone ever researched instead of spreading hate, pit bulls are not aggressive. They just have jaw strength;it is the only reason they can be dangerous. And Rottweilers, possibly German Shepards and that skinny of a Rottweiler all have stronger jaw strength. Unfortunately, because the can inflict damage, they were purchased by people who wanted attack or fighting dogs. Any breed of dog can be made aggressive in the hands of the wrong owners. Certain dogs can kill without a doubt. But good training and being a sensible owner can out weight the risks.

  3. Poor dog. They aren’t outside dogs, let alone in the cold. I kept my son’s pit lab mix because she’s a good sweet dog and he couldn’t find a place to rent to him with her. A dog that had been through so much in her short life before he rescued her and still such a good natured dog.
