Pet Store Secretly Replaces All Its Animals With Rescues. Watch What Happens…

Without telling anyone, a pet store replaced all of its animals with shelter animals for just one day. The customers’ reactions just about say it all…

“There's no difference if a pet is purebred or not,” Christianne Duarte Garoiu, president of Quatro Patinhas, says in the video.

“What really matters is the love that will arise there.”

  1. But the video is in Brazil. I am not sure where you are from. Also I am a little upset that they only used puppies and kittens. I feel like those are always first gone in a shelter. Would have been nice to see some adults in the video. Also I grew with the price problem and shelters especially specific breed shelters like to have the price very high! I was looking at this French Bulldog she was already ten and they were asking $1,000 for her.

  2. Fantastic all pet shops shd do this. It wd stop puppy mills and other greedy breeders who dont care about their dogs but only care about profit. All countries NEED to do this NOW !!

  3. I don’t agree with giving shelter pets away for free. Especially puppies and kittens. They’re cute and people adore them so of course they will take them if they cost nothing but what happens when they’re not “cute” anymore? Shelters in Australia charge for pets but they use that money to provide good shelter, food and health care of the animals until its adopted. Look at the life of shelter pets in Brazil because they have no money to take care of them.
Most pet stores in Australia who sell pets have shelter pets. They’re not free. Shelter pricing will vary but they all have set pricing for kittens and puppies and adult cats and dogs no matter what breed. Some places will give senior cats for free.
