Newly Adopted Beagle Who Was Deathly Afraid At Shelter Adores Her New Daddy

Peanut was adopted after spending 12 days in a kill shelter. The Beagle, who is about 1 year old, was deathly afraid of everything when she got to her new home. But it didn’t take long for the pup to become “daddy’s little girl”. Her new parents write, “In the first two weeks she quickly became the big baby in the house and LOVES dad!”

“She was so shy at the pound she wouldn’t come up to ANYONE, I think that’s why she wasn’t adopted,” says Eric Fox of his new pup. “She has a heart of gold and is soooo 100% puppy!”

She sure is! Just look at what Peanut does when dad’s around!

  1. my baby allways has done this but when i first met her then rescued her she peed on me but we got over it love her ive had her almost ten years now she is my reason for living

  2. My Beagle Bunny wouldn’t come out of the kennel but in my heart I knew she was mine. Signed the hold papers even before I told my husband. She came from a puppy mill but she has been the biggest joy and would do it all over again.

  3. We got our Beagle from Dogs Trust when he was 1, he is now 3 1/2 he was a neglect case and he had no emotion, didn’t wag his tail at all for the first three months and we could tell he had been battered, he so joyful now, loves his life and is the happiest boy and loves climbing on to a lap for a cuddle.

  4. Mine does this to the point where i can barely breathe when i walk in the door i have to sit right away so she can get her hugs nd kisses in lol i love it its the best part of my day

  5. That is the greatest feeling in the world being loved that much.
I believe dogs and other animals know what a kill shelter is and are grateful when they are saved!
Someday I will save a lot of them!
    Someday!

  6. This beautiful young lady right here….aka Eva….was scared to death when we got her from the shelter also. Then 1 day she took to me and hasn’t looked back for a few years now….AND WE HOPE FOR MANY MANY MANY MORE YEARS TO COME
