    I’ve been proud owner of 3. One a rescue. It is the poor breeding that causes a lot of the problems. People can not be happy with the breed as it was intended to be and what so many worked to develop over years is being ruined. People breed for red ones, big ones, miniature ones etc. etc. All to broaden the scope for sales reasons. It’s sickening. Bostons are a wonderful breed. I love them but your right. It takes a special owner to have a special breed like a Boston. I see a lot of fine looking specimens on these forums but also I see a lot of poor babies suffering from the greed of the breeders. I alway felt people should follow the AKC rules for standards and not ever breed beyond that standard.
