When Merlin, dubbed “the saddest dog in the world,” arrived to Viktor Larkhill and his team of rescuers, his whole body was covering in bloody, painful scabs.
He was also shaking with fear and was so weak that he couldn’t even stand up. It was safe to say that Merlin had sadly given up on life.

But rescuers refused to give up on Merlin.
They did everything they could to help Merlin feel at home so he wouldn’t be scared at the hospital. They took great care of him and began his treatment to get him back to full health as soon as possible.

Soon, Merlin looked like a brand new dog. Seeing him today, you would never believe that he was once in as bad shape as he was.
And the best part? He found a loving forever home!

Merlin is now happy and healthy with beautiful fluffy white fur. He has doggy friends to play with and humans who will always show him unconditional love.
