There is nothing we love more than family– and our dogs are family members. The term “pet” doesn’t really apply anymore. It’s an outdated assumption that our dogs are an accessory to our inner circle.
We know that isn’t the case. So when a dog goes missing from a family, the family members don’t just miss their dog. They essentially mourn their absence.
They don’t give up looking, either. Would you give up looking for your dog if he or she went missing? Of course not! Thankfully, for this family, their dog was found!
Their prayers were answered and their dog, Maria, that was missing for 8 excruciating months was located eating trash in a park.

Thanks to her microchip, her family was located. Her mom couldn’t drive fast enough to meet up with her Maria. Mom’s face says it all!
Having Maria back and knowing she is safe is the best feeling imaginable. But there is a surprise in store for the rest of the family.

Because Mom wasn’t entirely sure if Maria was okay, she wanted her checked by the veterinarian before telling her kids that Maria was found, safe and sound.
Once the vet cleared Maria, Mom could bring her out and surprise her children.
