Birth is always a trying experience. For all animals. But when Diva, a 3-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier mix got pregnant, her owners knew it would be a rough ride.
First, the father was 13 years old (that’s about 74 human years), so one wonders if that might have an impact. Then when you consider the enormous size of this dog’s pregnant belly, you have to wonder…and worry.
Of course, Diva is a big dog, anyway, but she obviously didn’t have just one little pup in there. So, when it finally came time to deliver her puppies, lying on towels in a corner, her owners waited with bated breath.
The first puppy came out and Diva licked it clean and introduced it to the world. Then came the second puppy and as the mama dog was already looking weak, her owners helped her open the baby’s embryonic sac.
Diva tried to rest but nope, here comes a third!
After the third puppy arrived, the poor mother was simply too exhausted to help out much, so the owners fed the new baby with water from a medicine dropper.
They figured it was over. Three puppies seemed plenty.
But oh, were they ever wrong…because Diva wasn’t even CLOSE to being through!
By the time it was all over, the stunned owners didn’t merely have a mama dog and three new puppies.
No, they actually had 13 puppies!

I don’t think this is wonderful! Pity the poor dog whose human allowed this to happen! What did they do with all those pups? And how did the poor momma dog cope with all those mouth to feed? Before you ask I am a dog lover and look at this from the poor dog point of view!

Momma cant keep up with all those babies to feed so they will surely supplement them to give her a break. They seem to know what they are doing and looked like they gave pup oxygen. Good luck to this poor pup and her babies❤️
