Peanut the Labrador tells his human mom he loves her by being like her shadow, he follows her anywhere she goes. She shared this cute video of what her life at home is like with a dog adorably stalks her every move!

    How do your dogs cope when you leave him/her at home? Ours has separation anxiety and cries the neighbourhood down. We got him at 6 months. He literally left his family, lifestyle and had three other dogs (his Mum and Dad)to keep him company. He follows us like a shadow at home.

    Our dog does the same! When I cook, clean or do anything. He will sit @ other end of rug when I’m vacuuming. When he goes outside, he walks into the room I’m in…smells specifically for & walks around the room smelling from distance for Dad or others. He’s sad when I go to work but we have very specific routines I stick to religiously! Arrival home is a routine too because we have to be consistent. It’s helped a lot with separation anxiety: consisted, repeatable routines.

    That’s a Lab. Our Shadow rarely leaves my husband’s side but does spend some time with me after he knows where Dad is. If he goes out he pretty much lays against the door until he returns.

    We have had to permanently “borrow” our daughter’s Labrador x German Shepherd. We were hoping to wean him off of her though. Maybe we have two dogs now! Ha ha
