For his 44th birthday, Koko, the gorilla who became famous when she met with Robin Williams, got the best present ever – a box of kittens! While she has had kittens before, they unfortunately escaped from her sight and ran outside where they were struck by a car. Koko was terrified and mourned the loss of her precious kittens.
Knowing just how much Koko loved kittens, her caretakers knew that new kittens would be perfect for her. In the video below, watch how she reacts to seeing the kittens. She instantly falls in love with the grey one! Koko has maternal instincts that will make her a great friend and Mom to these dear kittens.

It never fails to amaze me how gentle and maternal these animals are, and they are so huge one would think the kittens would be afraid but they obviously adopted quickly to having a Big Momma, so cute to see

KoKo lives in Hawaii. She had a single kitty that got hit by a car. I think these kittens were the replacement.
