His German Shepherd typically keeps him company, but when duty calls his inner guard dog instantly comes out. Transitioning from pet to protector happens faster than this man could give out a command. When this man tends the front register at the store, all seems completely normal. A man walks in and is greeted, yet seconds later, a weapon is pulled out, and the man at the register has nothing other than his dog to protect him.
With not a split second to spare, the German Shepherd jumps out from behind the counter in order to save his owner's life. The dog is completely fearless in his act to save his owner, and follows after the robber when his owner lifts him over the counter to chase him off. This dog is trained well. He is not a vicious dog who attacks anyone, he is trained only to protect, and in any other scenario, he lays peacefully behind the counter unseen.
All thanks to the faithfulness of his German Shepherd, his life was saved, the robber was caught and it was all filmed. Without him, the outcome could have been a lot different, and this man is beyond relieved to have such a good dog by his side.

A few years ago My girl Mina was at the vet getting a check up and she was dropped off at my cafe because I couldn’t make it back. At closing two guys walked in and started saying that they were there at opening time and had left their wallets—-FALSE!!. They then insisted that I give them $100 for gas to make it back to the Florida Keys.—–AHHH NO!. I noticed another guy in the car with the seat reclined back trying to hide. I had my waitress quietly go to the back and open my office door. I called out Mina’s name and gave her the attack command. Never saw two guys run faster towards the door as Mina was on an all out sprint from the back of the cafe sliding down my concrete floors LOL. I loved every minute of it. Mina and her boy TY pictured above.

Brilliant! Mine was always guarding me in my shop years ago. Forever putting his front paws on the counter – head often under my arm! I felt totally safe.
