Oddie the dachshund and his big gray pal may not be saying anything or pointing fingers, but their body language tells quite a story. It seems this pair knows something more about the destroyed insole than they would like their owner to know.
This appears to be a recurring theme for this these canines, as the owner and videographer also displays his mismatched flip-flops. Could this be another possible casualty of a doggy duo with unusual but consistent choices in non-designated chew toys?

Not really so funny if you understand dog reactions. You can tell they have been hit before by the ‘funny’ way they react and the look in their eyes.
Dogs that haven’t been beaten do not turn and try to cower in that way. They don’t turn their eyes from you like that. They don’t have that look in their eyes.
Sorry, but these dogs know what a beating is.
And that is not funny.

Sorry to be the party pooper (I know, I know) but what we humans see as ‘guilt’ can in fact be fear. Here’s a great article that explains more. https://www.businessinsider.com.au/dogs-guilt-fear-look-2017-2?r=US&IR=T
