81-year-old loses her beloved dog, completely breaks down when her son hands her a new pug

When eighty-year-old grandmother Ann lost her beloved rat terrier, she was completely devastated. She began sharing videos and photos of rescue dogs on Facebook. After a while, her son Charlie and his wife realized that she was sharing these videos because she was looking for a new dog to bring home. So, they decided to find the perfect dog for her!

Charlie and his wife have a pug who Ann loves, so they decided to get her a pug of her own. They found an adorable puppy who they knew would be perfect for Ann. They adopted the sweet little pug and brought her over to Ann’s house to surprise her. Ann’s daughter-in-law recorded Ann’s amazing reaction to her new dog.

As the video begins, Ann’s daughter-in-law tells Ann to keep her eyes closed. Charlie brings over the puppy, and once Ann sees the pug, she’s so excited she can barely even speak.

“Do you love her?” Ann’s daughter-in-law asks her.

Ann is still in shock, and all she can say is, “This is mine?”

Ann hugs the little pug, who contently rests against Ann’s chest. Ann begins to cry tears of joy as she realizes that she’ll get to keep the pug.

    First of all what is so horrible about what I said. Second of all. There are so many pugs up for adoption. Why not adopt one. People only think with their hearts and not common sense. If she dies that dogs world is gone. If no family to help. Then what. Another dog in a shelter. What I said wasn’t to be hurtful at all. People have to think before they act. I absolutely love all 4 of my pugs. And I have kids who would care for them. But not all people do. This is my whole point. What happens if something happens to this elderly women. Seen it happen way to many times.

    I got my first pug at the age of 2… he was a stray that I rescued..he is very happy after the 9 years of living with me…my second pug was bought as a puppy and raised with a woman for 4 years. She could no longer care for her and she gave her to me. I have had her for 6 years…she adjusted right away and is very happy too and both are loved so much by me! So why do you think if the lady dies the pugs world is gone??? My pugs world is not gone because someone else raised them from puppies!!!

    Maybe you should just state that there are pugs that need rescued so no one should ever buy a pug puppy …instead of worrying about this woman and stating she could die and what would happen to the dog? That could happen to any of us at any given time…do you see what I’m saying?

    No$#%&!@*Sherlock. We are all gonna die. Do you even get it. No you don’t never meant for this to be a negative comment. You are turning this into that. Common sense. Example pugs are big maintenance have extreme health issues and older people are on fixed incomes. So you tell me that buying this women a pug puppy thinking she can afford this. You my dear are out of your tree. Truth hurts but it is the truth. One of the most expensive breeds to care for and can live to be 15 or older. Come on please be sensible. We all love our dogs. But common sense with people when it comes to animals is far and wide. Sorry truth hurts.

    Do you know these people? How can you say they are being irresponsible ? Maybe they are happy to help with the vet bills… they own a pug so they know what kind if care it needs..why do you have to be so negative about a situation you don’t even know the details about and just assume that these people are being negligent. ..

    Your judging people saying she can’t afford her dog. Do you know this ladies income? You say you have four, how do you afford them? Who’s going to take care of your dogs when you die.
    You may have thought you were thinking of the puppy. But just because the lady has a little age on her doesn’t mean she shouldn’t have a pug. Oh, and further more all animals are expensive.
