Dogs don’t like being told to go to bed any more than children do. But at least you can sort of reason with a child (depending on the child, of course).

But it’s a lot harder with a dog (well…okay, depending on the dog).

In this video, we meet an adorable Golden Retriever who just refuses to go to bed.

Needless to say, an argument erupts between the two, as both parties refuse to give up ground. It’s kind of a ridiculous argument, but it’s every bit as cute as it is silly.

But then, “cute” and “silly” could just be a natural descriptor for Golden Retrievers, in general.
