Dogs don’t like being told to go to bed any more than children do. But at least you can sort of reason with a child (depending on the child, of course).
But it’s a lot harder with a dog (well…okay, depending on the dog).
In this video, we meet an adorable Golden Retriever who just refuses to go to bed.
Needless to say, an argument erupts between the two, as both parties refuse to give up ground. It’s kind of a ridiculous argument, but it’s every bit as cute as it is silly.
But then, “cute” and “silly” could just be a natural descriptor for Golden Retrievers, in general.

I love them all but last week a young woman took her young daughter & chocolate lab for a walk. I [aid atten to the lab & called her: “Chocolate”. LOL. The little girl ask her mom whay I called her “Chocolate”. The kid has to learn!

Don’t ever take your babies for granted. We had this sweet boy a day & found out the breeder gave him to us wirh parvo, she took him back told us her husband was a vet & he would be back to us soon.. we even kept his collar with our name on it cause we knew he was gonna forever be ours.. but she changed her number & now my heart is forever broke. I just wanna know he’s happy & healthy & safe 🙁

When my Retriever Millie, wants to go to bed she paces around and annoys us until we switch off the TV, see her to her bed, give a goodnight biscuit and some hugs then lights out and we have to go to bed too. Still wonder who makes the rules!!
