Girl Saves Senior Pug Left To Die In Garbage Bag

It's just heartbreaking to see these kind of news where the dogs get neglected and abandoned… but when we see ordinary people, let alone a 12-year-old girl, go out of their way to save dogs in need, our faith in humanity somewhat gets restored… Here's the story:

Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue in upstate New York is taking care of a sweet old Pug named Teddy after he was found tied up in a garbage bag and abandoned on the side of the road. Twelve-year-old Malory Steiner saw someone in a dark-colored SUV throw a trash bag out of the car, and was shocked to find the plastic bag still moving.

They notified authorities and Teddy was quickly taken to the vet. The poor little Pug broke his tail when he was tossed, but Teddy is also suffering even worse injuries after being very obviously neglected for a long time.

    Senior dogs are amazing we have 2 old girls and I know we are on borrowed time with them now I am thankful for every day they are still here to throw one out is beyond disgusting hope someone treats her like that when she’s old

    What horrible people to do that to this poor dog, so glad he has a new and loving home. If they find his previous owners they should be prosecuted and never be let near another animal……

    There are SO many rotten people on this earth! Hopefully, this person who has no regards or feelings towards life, will have their own children or a close friend or relative throw them out on the side of the road! Now that would be justice!!

    OOH dear, the people who dumped this wee darling, can afford to run a big 4 wheeled drive vehicle, they should have thrown away the car, and kept the pug!!! if i was there i would have taken down the number plate and hunted them down, like the rats they where. When you have a pug, its for life, and when its gets old, you just give it more love. I had two pugs and they both made it to 15 years each. when it came to the end , they just slpt away into the arms of the angels !

    Abandoning an animal is wrong, period. If someone can abandon an animal, they don’t deserve them. I guess you can’t expect someone to be respectful to an animal and take them to a shelter, if they are cruel. So sad, but glad she was reacued. There needs to be harsher punishments for animal cruelty. I hope that the previous owner/owner is found. I will gladly take care of them!

    This makes me so mad!! What is wrong with people these days! Pets are for life and not something you throw out with the trash when you tired of them! Hope the trash who did this are caught and treated the same way!
