Girl Saves Senior Pug Left To Die In Garbage Bag

It's just heartbreaking to see these kind of news where the dogs get neglected and abandoned… but when we see ordinary people, let alone a 12-year-old girl, go out of their way to save dogs in need, our faith in humanity somewhat gets restored… Here's the story:

Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue in upstate New York is taking care of a sweet old Pug named Teddy after he was found tied up in a garbage bag and abandoned on the side of the road. Twelve-year-old Malory Steiner saw someone in a dark-colored SUV throw a trash bag out of the car, and was shocked to find the plastic bag still moving.

They notified authorities and Teddy was quickly taken to the vet. The poor little Pug broke his tail when he was tossed, but Teddy is also suffering even worse injuries after being very obviously neglected for a long time.

    People can be the worst. Here is my grey old man. He’s part of the family. You don’t put family members in bin bags and throw them out of cars when you don’t want them. Why do people have to be so cruel? If you really can’t look after them why not dump them at a vet/shelter so they have a chance of a good life with someone else? No need to be evil. What could an old pug do that deserved that kind of cruelty? X

    What kind of P. O. S. would do this to an elderly pug? This is wrong on so many levels. It’s bad that this would happen to any animal.. but Pugs are the most dedicated, loving, and loyal breed of dogs that there are. Other Pug owners you know what I mean! Karma will take care of this individual followed by a special place in Hell.

    Thank you for saving him from the horrible person who did this, but if I can say one thing it would be to not rough house a senior dog. He looked very annoyed in the beginning when she rough housed him with her hand… He looks in a lot of pain. I you don’t have the funds to get him medical attention, take him to a low cost place, please. 🙁

    May all animal abusers burn in hell. And no my comment is not half as dark and cruel as an animal abusers heart!!! One day their day will come, pity and a blessing that I won’t be witness to it.
