Girl Saves Senior Pug Left To Die In Garbage Bag

It's just heartbreaking to see these kind of news where the dogs get neglected and abandoned… but when we see ordinary people, let alone a 12-year-old girl, go out of their way to save dogs in need, our faith in humanity somewhat gets restored… Here's the story:

Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue in upstate New York is taking care of a sweet old Pug named Teddy after he was found tied up in a garbage bag and abandoned on the side of the road. Twelve-year-old Malory Steiner saw someone in a dark-colored SUV throw a trash bag out of the car, and was shocked to find the plastic bag still moving.

They notified authorities and Teddy was quickly taken to the vet. The poor little Pug broke his tail when he was tossed, but Teddy is also suffering even worse injuries after being very obviously neglected for a long time.

Check out the video on the next page to learn more about Teddy’s heartless abandonment, and the young girl who came to his fortuitous rescue here:

  1. People are so terrible to do this to an innocent animal. They deserve to go to hell. I too, love pugs and all dogs but I have a special spot for pugs. These kinds of people don’t deserve to live or have pets

  2. Meanwhile our four legged family member has been diagnosed with a heart murmur today and we’ll move heaven and earth to make sure he has everything he needs and at no point will be face any of it alone. When you bring another life into your family, you make a commitment to care for them whatever life might bring. To discard Teddy like he was rubbish was unbelievably cruel, thoughtless, spiteful and incomprehensible. At least he will now be around decent human beings!!

  3. OMG what is wrong with people today?? makes me sick!!! Pugs are one of THE MOST loving breeds there is! How can anyone do this?? I want that evil person to ride the bus to the Karma Cafe’ where they are served what they deserve!!!

  4. Just sent my senior pug over the Rainbow Bridge last year and miss him terribly but did get a BUGG cause could not live without the love and affection these dogs give. The pug in this story should be put in a plastic bag to see how he would survive SICK BAS….!!!!!!
