Garrett Ross and his fiancee were driving to work when they witnessed the most horrific act of violence against puppies.
They saw someone in a white vehicle throw several dogs out of a moving vehicle on Highway 24, just northeast of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ross and his fiancee pulled over and said two of the dogs were in very rough shape while the others ran away. No one else stopped and Ross said people honked at them and made obscene gestures.

“The amount of heartless people I saw this morning broke my heart,” Garrett shared. “I hate these babies had to die like that so young! They were just puppies!’
It is believed at least six puppies were thrown from the vehicle and volunteers have been searching for the missing animals. According to the sheriff’s office, one of the puppies was accidentally hit by a passing car.

At this point, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and they believe a white SUV known locally is “non-criminally involved.”
