A Garbage Man Didn’t Know He Was On Camera, What They Caught Him Doing Took My Breath Away

Twice a week, the garbage man in this video takes time out of his day and his job to say hello to a special friend.

This guy decided to set up a hidden camera to capture the sweet moment.

As soon as the waste collector pulls up to the house and gets out of his truck, he looks around expectantly. Suddenly, a golden retriever runs toward him!

Joshua Byrne is the dog’s owner, and shares in the description: ‘Every week the garbage man takes time (2 quality minutes) to see my pup and say hi. Who said that nice people are hard to find?’

Joshua decided he wanted to share the nice moment with the world, so he set up a camera to catch it on film. You can see the familiarity between the dog and the garbage man, and the excitement that the dog feels at getting to say hello to her friend!

It’s a simple video, but it has a brought a lot of joy to many viewers. It’s always nice to see people take a few minutes out of their day to make someone happy, if it that someone is an animal!

  1. Good for this garbage man who has a golden retriever dog as is friend. This is a very good story. He picks up the trash and the owner is outside and the dog comes up to the dog and he pets the dog. And then he talks to the owner of the dog. God bless this garbage man. Who is wonderful and amazing and Very awesome.

  2. My 2 boys love our UPS man at work. Before Harley went blind, he’d see the UPS truck from afar and start pacing and yipping, and we’d have to let him out when it pulled up to our building. Now, we (my co-workers and I) tell him, “Look who’s here, Harley!” and he stands by the door crying for the driver (to hurry up and get inside and give him a biscuit). LOL

  3. The waste disposal guys, PG&E people and the sheriff’s all carry treats around here. That’s why you don’t here dogs barking in our neighborhood. And the people know most of the animals names!

  4. My black lab cassie would do the same thing every month with our water delivery guy. He would honk and she would fly out the door down the driveway. He had 3 labs and loved her like his own.
