It's never a good idea to leave a dog alone in the car. (Check out this NFL player who experienced what it’s like to be a dog left in a hot car. Wow.)
The ASPCA reports that thousands of dogs die every year from heatstroke after being left in cars with the windows shut on a day that doesn't even have to be that hot.
On top of that, there are countless incidents of dogs being stolen from cars who are then sold for profit.
This French Bulldog seems to have sensed the danger and took matters into his own hands and started honking!
Why bark when you can honk the car, right? lol Smart dog!

Ok, Internet, let’s calm down. No one said it’s July in Florida here. In fact, we have coniferous trees and shrubs, naked deciduous trees, blustering wind, and an overcast sky suggesting imminent, aggressive precipitation. All indicative of a moderate, North-ish climate during spring or fall. My experience and instincts go for fall, but either way. While we might not like the idea of leaving him alone in the car, he’s alert and active, not panting or apparently in distress, and evidence suggests it is a cool, stormy day. He should be fine for a short while, barring any ‘good’ samaritans smashing a window.
