This Potato Is Taking Instagram By Storm, And Its Photos Are Just Too Cute

Just when you thought Instagram had reached its maximum capacity for adorable puppies, Puffie the Chow came along. We’re not really sure if he’s a dog, a teddy bear, or a marshmallow, but he’s probably going to run away with your heart, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Puffie was born in China on February 13th, 2017, but it wasn’t until early June that he arrived at his forever home in Malaysia as a birthday gift. His new mom fell in love with him at first sight, and immediately began sharing his daily adventures on Instagram – as well as the lengthy naps that always follow them, of course. His audience of now 42.8 thousand dotes on his every pounce, and he hasn’t even been here for a year yet.

Chow Chows are known for more than just their excessive, luscious fur and dark blue tongues. They have unique spirits, and are famously stubborn when it comes to training, change, and dealing with people they don’t know. Though they can also be lazy, shy, and overly attached to their owners, for the lucky owners of this ancient Chinese breed, it’s all part of the Chow Chow charm.
