Man Kills Family Pet Because He Wanted To “See The Inside The Dog”

West Palm Beach Police recently responded to a home in their Floridian town about a local resident who supposedly harmed a dog. On arrival to 21-year-old Scott Mills’ residence, the police officers made a gruesome discovery.

They saw blood spatters in the corner of a man-made pond and what they described as “disturbed earth.” A police officer used a nearby shovel to dig into that section of earth and found the body of a dog. Mills told police he feels “animals are not real, they are robots” and he “wanted to see inside of the dog.”

A nearby resident told police Mills was in his backyard the night before but they didn’t find that to be suspicious since he always does that.

However, that same person told police that the dog, named Max, seemed afraid of Mills. By his account, Mills says the dog snapped at him so he stabbed the animal repeatedly, bashed his head with a shovel, and buried him in the man-made pond thus “setting him free.”

Thankfully, he is now in custody and faces animal cruelty charges. Video footage from Mills’ first appearance in court can be seen in the video below.
