…such as searching for drugs and explosives, searching for lost people, looking for crime scene evidence, and protecting their handlers.

The most commonly used breed is the German Shepherd. But don’t underestimate our Boxer Friends!

This A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (and I repeat, AMAZING!!) German Boxer, has made over 500 arrests in less than 4 years as a police dog!!!!!!! MUCH more than most human police in their whole careers.

    Bullenbeisser and Bulldog went into the making of the Boxer however it was before the types of Bulldog were given different names so it’s unknown what Bulldog went into the making but most speculate that it was the American Bulldog not English.

    Years ago an$#%&!@*told my dad to get his boxer out of the park cos his chow didnt like other dogs. The chow went for Bowler so dad let go of the lead. They legged it then bowler came back with the chows front leg in his mouth and his tail wiggling like the clappers. Dad gave the bloke his dogs leg in case he wanted it.
