Son Gets Mad At Dad’s 3-Week-Old Puppy, Puts Him In Dryer & Turns It On

What started out as a long lost reunion between a man and his son ended in tragedy. Jeremy Lindsay, an 18-year-old man living in South Bend, Indiana, is charged with throwing a 3-week-old puppy in a dryer until the animal died.

Justin Duis, the father of Lindsay, told authorities he only met his 18-year-old son two weeks earlier, as they had no contact prior. Lindsay had moved in with his birth father and his wife, Danielle Chubb, when the horrible incident occurred.

Danielle found the three-week-old puppy named Cammie dead on the family’s couch. Jeremy told her the puppy died, and the animal was then buried in the yard.

Later that day, Danielle went to the basement to do laundry and discovered the scene, which included blood and dog hair inside the dryer. She told police the pup looked like she was hit by a car.

“I don’t understand why he put it in the dryer, I don’t know. Something is wrong with that boy. That boy needs help,” said Charlotte Logan, who lives near the residence.

Lindsey was charged with killing of a domestic animal, considered a class 6 felony,  torturing or mutilating a vertebrate animal, a Level 6 felony; and cruelty to an animal, a Class A misdemeanor.
