I would do anything for my dog and I know my dog would do anything for me. Our bond is that special. Do you know what my greatest fear is though? The day I have to deal with my dog not being by my side.
Amanda Jones, a photographer, also knows this feeling. She wanted to, however, demonstrate to everyone that a dog’s love is timeless.
How did she do that? Amanda photographed and followed the lives of 30 dogs as they aged from several months old to many years old. Her photos serve as a reminder that the “bond we share with our canine companions deepens and matures in their journey from playful pups to wise old friends.”
After seeing these photos, how can you think that life wouldn’t be better with a dog by your side?

It’s sad when you see a trustful loyal true friend that’s been by your side for 15 years or more with your good days and bad days like any other person it has always been there for you, its hard to let go at the end, a strong bond that you and your dog created brings you more more closer to each other, that bond will live on forever, hopefully one day we can reunite with our dogs, Dogs are Family

My Slinky, whether 8 months old or 18 years old, will always love his Mama and his Sissy. Just like we will always love him. He is my baby boy and her Bubba and always will be.

Not sad. It’s life and the way our beautiful furry friends age. I’ve had many that have live 17- 22 years old and they are just as precious young as they are old. Actually the olders are more precious because they know so much more about life and living with their humans. They are so beautiful to the last minute of their lives. <3
