Dogs are not only kind and thoughtful, but they are also able to sense when someone needs their help. This sweet video beautifully captures the empathetic side of a dog, when he feels that the family’s toddler is cold and uncomfortable.

The dog in this video feels a sudden drop in the temperature and his first instinct is to go check on the baby. Sure enough, the baby is sleeping without covers! Since the toddler’s mommy is not around, the dog decides to do what any mommy would have done in this situation.
The dog carefully starts pulling the sides of the blanket on which the baby is sleeping. After a considerable amount of effort, the dog is able to cover the sleeping baby in a comfortable layer of the blanket. He even tucks the baby in, just like their mommy does!

The dog hovers over the baby to ensure that she is warm and cozy. The dog looks very pleased after caring for the little human. He even goes on to give himself a nice stretch for the job well done. What a good boy!
