Recently, a dog in Paraguay discovered the ideal spot for a relaxing afternoon nap.
The dog appeared at ease and satisfied as she lounged in the lush green grass. She slept peacefully, a smile on her face. Nothing could possibly fail.
However, she was interfering with a professional soccer game.
The Paraguayan Primera Division tournament match between Sol de América and Guaran was going on when the tired dog showed out on the field. She would also need to move if the players wished to finish the game.
To the dismay of the exhausted dog, who was obviously in the middle of an incredible dream, stadium staff members quickly woke up the dog and shuffled her off the field so that play could continue.
The gamers quickly resumed their game after being thrilled by the unexpected puppy.
That day, the home team came out on top; who knows, maybe their dozy interloper turned out to be a lucky charm.
