Even one day away from my dog is torture. So I can’t imagine what it would be like to go several months without looking into her sparkling eyes and feeling her fur between my fingers.

But it’s not just us humans who feel this way. It’s just as hard for dogs.

I know my dog misses me every day by the wonderful greeting she gives me every evening when I come home from work. But how would a dog react to meeting their owner again after being apart for months? This beautiful video has the heartwarming answer.

This beautiful Golden retreiver was waiting at the airport to meet his mom. She’s in the military and had been away on deployment for several months. His amazing reaction to meeting her again is a real joy to see. It brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful!
