A woman spotted a dog in a car with all of the windows up and called the police. As they worked to rescue the dog, the owner came out of the store and confronted them. You won’t believe what she had to say…

To be fair I’ve seen people loose their$#%&!@*because I left a 9 year old who was throwing a tantrum in my van with front windows rolled down and the two sliding doors opened. I left him there for 10 min or less. I also live in a town of 1700 people where everyone knows everyone else so the fear of him being kidnapped is not real. But they still called the cops. Note to people…it is not illegal to leave your child or pet in a vehicle. As long as it is either running with the ac on or there is a good amount of air flow they will be fine! I would never leave them there if they were in danger but most people freak out and butt their noses where they don’t belong. I’ve even had someone tell me it’s illegal. The cop asked the situation, I explained and he told me to have a good day.

I take Moe with me everywhere I go. He loves hangingout in the parking lot. But I roll ALL the windows all the way down and he is smart and well behaved enough to stay and enjoy the scenery. People will comment at how sweet and well behaved he is. I always come out of the store with a snack for him. He loves it and is one of the reasons why he is so good. I’d never take him with me and leave him locked in with the windows up. He means more to me than anyone I know. Oh, not you Sonnia, not you. You mean more to me than him, I promise. (not really….sshhhhh) 🙂

I’ve opened the door and have taken an old dog out before, even though there were windows opened. It was still hot. Walked the old dog into the stores lobby sat there called the police and when they came told him what happened, and guess what? The jerk has done this before the cop said.
